Personalised Acupuncture Treatments by Julie Butterworth

Julie is a licensed acupuncturist with a BSc (Hons) and LicAc from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, supported by an MBA from the University of Bath. She blends Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element theory, and advanced neuro-acupuncture to provide holistic, personalised treatment for a wide range of conditions.

Her post-graduate training includes Sports Injuries, Pain Management, Menopause Support, Japanese Paediatric Acupuncture, Mental Health Support, Cosmetic Acupuncture and Micro-Needling. Julie also works extensively with neurological disorders, using scalp and neuro-acupuncture techniques to support patients with migraines, post-stroke recovery, tremors, neuropathies, trigeminal neuralgia and other complex presentations.

After a successful career in business and raising three children, Julie understands the pressures of modern life and brings deep empathy to her work. Her lived experience allows her to support patients not only physically, but emotionally and practically too.

Julie’s treatments may include acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, shonishin, tui na, acupressure, gua sha, moxibustion, cupping, micro-needling and nano-needling—always tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Whether addressing chronic pain, emotional stress, menopause, neurological symptoms or facial rejuvenation, she focuses on restoring balance and promoting long-term wellbeing.

Julie currently runs clinics at Stillpoint just off Walcot Street and The Bath Practice on Monmouth Street, Bath.
